Email Address

Your CareerFolio includes a link to your email address so that employers and recruiters can contact you directly.

Internal Links

Internal links are used to navigate within a Web page or Web site. Most internal links are represented by underlined text, navigation buttons, and/or icons.

External Links

Your CareerFolio can include links to external Web pages and Web Sites. These links can be included in context within the resume, or can be listed on a separate links page.

Nameplate

The nameplate is the top (horizontal) portion of the CareerFolio where the job seeker's name is located: CareerFolios with Nameplates: Mai Karakanos Arytha Wasco Richard Walker Wanda Chang Cynthia Shamken

PDF

PDF is an acronym for Portable Document File. Many web resumes include PDF downloads as they are compatible with all computer systems and provide an attractive "hard copy" version for printing.

PDFs can be opened and read by anyone who has a PDF reader.

URL

URL is an acronym for Universal Resource Locater. In short, a URL is a Web address.

CareerFolios have a short and intuitive URL: www.careerfolio.com/yourname
